I very excited to tell you what I am doing in 2023 to inspire and inform about bumblebees, solitary bees and other pollinators. A lot is still embargoed but I can share a few highlights.
Yeo Valley Bee Safaris
I’ll be taking my bee safaris at Yeo Valley Organic Gardens starting in May 2023. Come and join me for morning coffee, an illustrated talk and then a bee safari around the gardens at Yeo Valley. It’s a great morning treat and a fun way to meet some of your garden pollinators and learn more about garden bees, other pollinators and great plants to grow to support them.

Jekka’s HerbFest II
Then in June/July I am going to be taking bee tours at Jekka’s HerbFest II. The dates are Friday June 30th 2023, Saturday July 1st 2023 and Sunday July 2nd 2023. This is an amazing chance to learn all about herbs with top herb experts, chefs and speakers plus of course the Herb Queen herself – Jekka McVicar. Each day is packed with great speakers, fab food, evocative herbs and even the healing powers of these magical plants. Plus you can join me for a bee tour around the new herb garden and the amazing herbetum. You can learn more about the line-up and book tickets here.

This year I am sharing my love of pollinators and bees with Horticultural Societies and Gardening Clubs as a speaker.

National Botanic Garden of Wales Pollinator Festival
Come and join me at the fabulous National Botanic Garden of Wales on World Bee Day (Saturday May 20th 2023) and Sunday May 21st 2023. We are celebrating and championing all of our pollinators with a range of family activities including meadow tours, demonstrations, talks, pollinator safaris, bee bingo and so much more. The Botanic Garden is a great place to learn all about our precious pollinators and the power plants that they rely on in and around our gardens. It’s a family event with lots of activities for the youngsters so do bring them along. More info HERE.
Jekka’s Herb Farm – Open Days
I will be doing my very popular bee walks/bee safaris at Jekka’s April Open Days on Friday April 28th 2023 and Saturday April 29th 2023. It’s a great place to see herbs in all their glory and note which plants are magnets for our pollinating friends. Plus you can buy organic herb plants for taste bombs in your cooking, ingredients for summer teas, cordials and menus and their powerful healing vibes too. SOLD OUT

Bee Bold Nature FunDay at Heart of BS13
Don’t miss this fabulous community day at Heart of BS13 on June 10th. It’s a family event in Bristol with lots of great activities for all ages. Designed for your little nature-lovers and mini explorers! A day of celebrating nature and the creatures within it – expect live performances, children’s activities and amazing food!
