I can’t believe that today, 5th March 2025, my best-selling Bee Book is FIVE years old. So much has happened since the very first copy landed on my door mat back in 2020.

While my book, The Secret Lives of Garden Bees was being printed, COVID was rocking the world and by the time my book, was published we were about to enter lock-down here in the UK. I am sure I don’t need to remind you of the horrors of the pandemic. But there were golden moments, many of which came through being out in nature and focusing on the little things. We craved information and turned to others to learn more and so my buzzy friends gained new admirers and the peace of lock-down helped them to thrive, at least for a short while.

So, my #beebook was perfectly timed. That was fate not skill, but then it grew wings! The hardback sold out in 3 months, and the paperback followed on swiftly.

I love that it brought my buzzy friends to people’s attention. So … please raise a glass and wish my beebook a happy 5th birthday. And if you still haven’t read it, there are signed copies available from my shop here.
